Tea with Ms. Paradise or The Transformative Power of Art Feb 9 Written By Jan 11-17 | Tea with Ms. Paradise or The Transformative Power of Art It’s been more than 15 years since I last saw Lori, one of many amazing women and partners in crime from my Selletto Days. She had a train to catch to NYC so we met up for tea in the Map Room at the Boston Public Library and caught up on our lives which turn out to be far more similar than they might appear on paper. Geographically our paths have diverged quite a bit, but the common themes were remarkable. It was a beautiful and inspiring place to be while we drank tea and shared thoughts about art, money, health, faith, shopkeeping, growing old, and Bowie. …though we do suggest that they reconsider the tables and chairs (nowhere near up to standard for such an important building) and consider ditching the banal and ginormous drinks cooler that looks like it might fall over any minute and sounds like it could possibly explode.
