Jan 18-24  |  My Birthday with Silas & the Albers 

We started my birthday with a morning walk on the river noticing the beautiful lines tracing arcs and patterns across the puddles of ice we were so careful to avoid. The afternoon was spent at the ICA where my favorite works from the Black Mountain College show were Josef and Anni Alber’s graphic prints and Silas Riener’s solo ballet performance of “The Changeling” staged in the middle of the gallery. I ended the day thinking about all kinds of lines in red and black.
