August 23-29  |  Summer Harvesting, Bird’s Eye View

The vegetables are stressing me out this week. It’s a lovely stress to have, don’t get me wrong, but a mounting stress nonetheless as certain veggies start falling to the ground and you just know that rotting, or really, wasting is imminent. So, as you weed, and pick, and clean, and pick and clean some more it is such a lovely relief, or really, excuse, to stop working for a moment as you spot the most beautiful dragonfly ever resting on the pea trellis.
