Gold Rising

Woke up this morning to a woodland of the brightest yellow-green. For weeks the color has paused midway, but overnight it reached all the way to the tippy top of our trees. Even the most vibrantly colored Goldfinch had competition as they flew in for breakfast at the feeder.
