Sharing in Analog

Finally made a trip to the Post Office and had a letter from Mom. I figured it must be revised health docs or some such thing - I mean what more than important hard copy docs would she be sending in the mail? No birthdays or anniversaries were afoot.

Turns out the best ever old school experience was folded within: two recipes she’d scanned from the New York Times. We made this one last night with a batch of Sea Island Red Peas and Carolina Gold Rice. It was HEAVENLY and I cannot wait to video call her tonight and let her know. It will be on the menu as soon as we get to be together again for sure.
