September 28 - October 4  |  Beauport with Richard Nylander

This week passed as so many have lately - overly hectic and full of stress! BUT, on Saturday, Tim’s father took us on a private tour of one of the many historic homes he worked on over his 40+ years at SPNEA (aka Historic New England) and we were transported. Beauport happens to be one of his favorites and now I know why. With monochromatic glass collections displayed throughout the home situated in windows naturally lit from behind, amazing textiles that Richard sourced and brought back to life, and architectural details exactingly restored, my busy week exited my brain and allowed it to be filled with nothing but inspiring imagery. This visit was such a gift.
