8.16.15  |  Rain Lullabies, Glowing-Green Rise & Shine

A visit with Jolly V this weekend: we spent the night on the sleep porch up in the woods. Overnight, the musical sound of raindrops falling on the metal roof reminded me of being a little girl in the Adirondacks, sleeping on Grammy and Grampy’s porch under their green, wavy, fiberglass roof. I just loved that sound as it lulled me to sleep and the green glow upon waking was the coolest.
