It is true, we celebrated the 4th this year in Freedom, NH at the lake house with the Nylanders, Giffens, & Rookers (well, just the one Rooker this year). Between the fireworks displays happening all around the lake and the ones our crew set off on the dock, it was a pretty spectacular night. Luckily Tim and I were not around the previous evening when the fireworks apparently went a little awry. This is the kind of thing I hear can happen when someone sets them off in a concrete block…upside down…or something like that. Also, I didn’t have to sit in the truck with Sarah and Tom listening to the Dead, praise the Lord of the Living.
