Curating a Really Great Day Apr 27 Written By 3.24.15 | Curating a Really Great Day A great week for me and Tim - Bjorn came to visit after a floral exhibition took him from Germany to California - Boston on the way back just made perfect sense! Top on our list of reunion plans for the week was taking a road trip to PTown and visiting Richard. After catching up in the morning at our inn, Richard gave us the grand tour of his hometown. One of our last stops was to the museum where he works. He had just helped curate a local artist’s exhibition and I decided that I would use this photo as an opportunity to curate my own show by replacing most of the artworks with photos from our two days together. Here they are from top left down the columns: Richard and his Red Dot Studio bike Visiting Richard’s house I love this collage by Richard and these drawings of amaryllis Red Dot Studio - every inch filled with beautiful objects and perfectly styled, of course!! Bjorn, Richard, Me The Lands End Inn where we stayed - chock full of crazy amazing art deco decor Richard’s backyard with John and Max The ginormous boat in the middle of the PTown library! Richard and John’s living room - Bjorn and Hilary share many envious looks as we get the house tour. a found object sculpture by Mr. Lacasse foot and chain sculpture in the front yard view from our inn sculpture in middle of ocean views from inside our inn where we ate breakfast and caught up with Richard for coffee before we headed back to Boston Bjorn Bjorn and Richard looking at a painting in the museum - and now looking at themselves ;) our inn so unbelievable situated above the town!! the beach Richard took us to first thing on our grand tour. artjournalCapturingMemoriesFriendsForLifeIllustrationPTown
