i was so inspired today by a Ted Talk by philosopher Ruth Chang explaining why Hard Choices are not actually hard, but deeply empowering opportunities. As long as we keep looking outside of ourselves for reasons to pick one option over another, we will continue to bang our heads on the wall. Rather, make our own reasons from within and then consider which option we can put our full agency behind. Phew - I don’t have a hard choice to make at the moment, but this talk totally relaxed me.
