I think because I was a poor freelancer years ago I now have a deep anxiety about checking the mailbox. This disorder worked out in my favor today when Tim returned from a week away and picked up all the week’s mail. Turns out I had received a thank you card from Ima Fray earlier in the week, which became the most perfect birthday present today.

Ima and I share a passion for all things home design and are also a little spooky - cos we tend to buy and find and create the same things half way around the world from each other. The card I got to open today is from a treasured collection of cutout dollhouse cards she has kept since she was a little girl and inside was a super handmade card from her sons, Ben & Sam. Ben filled it with amazing drawings to thank us for their balloon animals xmas present. Best present for ME!

I am definitely most Happy today on my Birthday :)
