I was psyched to hear Merriam-Webster declare “culture” as the most looked up word of 2014 - of course it can be linked to negative terms as much as positive ones, but it seems like no matter what its a great word to have top of mind these days.

That said, I can’t believe how often I have heard the word disruptive this year already. Ok, makes sense for protest news and maybe Uber is causing some needed change within the taxi mafia, but it already seems to have been co-opted by businesses as one of the best traits they can aspire to own - hmmm.
