Our new alarm system includes the usual shrieking tones as well as an extra panic inducing voice speaking like a sportscaster at the height of a potentially great play. As if the threat of burning to death or dying of poisonous air is not enough to get you moving. False Alarm and Firemen at 4am. There was no more sleep for us. Downstairs, Becky slept through the whole damn thing.
